Our Programs

Here are some moments of our projects and programs in some years.

Master Butterfly Garden Program

This program is composed of two projects where we planted a wide range of butterfly and pollinator friendly plants and flowers. The program goes on with continuously more additions of a wide variety with various sources and approaches. This program in 2020 is a great success and we have achieved outstanding accomplishments. The program in 2021 is exceptional and innovative and we have achieved innovative and exceptional accomplishments.

Spring and Summer Butterfly Gardening Project

This project started last spring and summer and continued this spring. We developed theme and new butterfly gardens and planted a wide range of pollinator and butterfly friendly plants and flowers while integrating the spring planting into the developed Autumn butterfly gardens and taking good care of the growing plants. The project goes on with continuous additions of a wide variety with various sources and approaches. This project in 2020 is a great success. Our plants came back strong after bulbs kept on the ground during the winter, have 2nd round of new growth and beautiful blossoms after the blossoming seasons and blossom freshly and beautifully late into the seasons after chilly and negative temperatures at night. This project in 2021 is exceptional and innovative. In spring, summer and autumn until October, our Monarch and butterfly gardens are fresh green and colorful filled with a wide range of thriving plants and super beautiful blossoms in profusion on the ground. A lot of them have been blossoming beautifully since spring and early summer and have their 2nd and 3rd round of beautiful blossoms. In November and December, there are beautiful blossoms and growth in/after long chilly negative temperatures and heavy snows on the ground in our Monarch and butterfly gardens. It is a sensation and wonder in history! 

Autumn Butterfly Gardening Project

This project started last autumn. It is composed of more than ten small butterfly gardens where we planted a wide range of butterfly and pollinator friendly plants and flowers last autumn. The project is still going on with continuous more additions of a wide variety with various sources and approaches. This project in 2020 is a great success. Our plants that we planted with seeds and bulbs both blossom beautifully longer than their seasons and have their second rounds of beautiful growth and blossoms late into the seasons until mid-October and are still blossoming beautifully. This project in 2021 is exceptional and innovative. In spring, summer and autumn until October, our Monarch and butterfly gardens are fresh green and colorful filled with a wide range of thriving plants and super beautiful blossoms in profusion on the ground. A lot of them have been blossoming beautifully since spring and early summer and have their 2nd and 3rd round of beautiful blossoms. In November and December, there are beautiful blossoms and growth in/after long chilly negative temperatures and heavy snows on the ground in our Monarch and butterfly gardens. It is a sensation and wonder in history! 

Monarch Conservation Program

This program started last summer when we observed milkweed plants and larvae and monarchs naturally growing and born at our home. The program is integrated into all of our programs and the space here is dedicated to this species considered as species at risk.  Several species of host plants for monarchs were planted last autumn and this spring with various approaches and sources. We applied excellent approaches in research, butterfly gardening and processes and have accomplished outstanding achievements in this program as well as in all our other programs. We created our research and innovation base and lab and our research and innovation go on. This program goes on with continuous gardening, research, innovations and development. The program in 2019 and 2020 are a great success: Monarch laid eggs on our milkweed plants naturally, larvae and monarchs were born naturally, super beautiful, strong and healthy and flew to Mexico naturally. In this program in 2021, we made history! We are natural home to Monarchs on several species and varieties of milkweeds growing in our Monarch and butterfly gardens on the ground where Monarchs stayed, naturally laid eggs; larvae naturally grew and turned into beautiful, strong and healthy pupae and Monarch butterflies.

This program started in March of spring and June and July of summer, 2020. This program goes on with continuous gardening and development. This program in 2020 is a great success and we have achieved outstanding accomplishments. This program in 2021 in innovative and exceptional and we have achieved innovative and exceptional accomplishments.

Spring Butterfly Seedlings Projects 2020 & 2021

This project started in March, 2020 with some seeds growing indoor and more and various seeds were planted outdoor in the butterfly gardens and other forms after the last frost of spring. It is a great success with various seedlings blossoming from spring to early/mid summer outdoor and in our butterfly gardens. This project goes on with continuous gardening and development. This project in 2020 is a great success. Our spring seedlings planted with seeds have been blossoming beautifully in our spring, summer and autumn butterfly gardens in profusion and are still blossoming beautifully in mid-October. This project in 2021 is exceptional and innovative. A lot of our spring seedlings planted with seeds outside have been blossoming beautifully in profusion in our spring, summer and autumn Monarch and butterfly gardens on the ground. There are beautiful blossoms and vibrant growth on the ground  in/after continuous low and negative temperatures and snows. It is a sensation and wonder in history!

Summer Butterfly Seedlings Projects 2020 & 2021

This project started in June, 2020 with some seeds growing outdoor and then more in the butterfly gardens in early to mid July. This project goes on with more seeds planted outdoor and continuous gardening and development. This project in 2020 is a great success. Our summer seedlings planted with seeds have been blossoming beautifully in our summer and autumn butterfly gardens in profusion and are still blossoming beautifully in mid-October. This project in 2021 carries its successful momentum with our summer seedlings planted with seeds beautifully blossoming and growing in our summer and autumn butterfly gardens in/after continuous low and negative temperatures in the late seasons.

Backyard Butterfly Garden Program

This program started last autumn. We take good care of the plants, flowers, bushes and trees growing and naturally growing in the backyard and planted a wide range of butterfly and pollinator friendly plants and flowers. This program goes on with more work and more species additions while keeping it wild. This program in 2020 is a great success. In addition to the beautiful butterfly gardens that we developed with milkweeds and beautiful flowers blossoming until the late seasons in mid-October and still going on, our backyard is filled with beautiful naturally growing blossoms in the late seasons. It is part of our wonder and our beautiful wonderland. In this program in 2021, new varieties of flowers and plants have been developed with beautiful blossoms and growth in addition to the ones originally planted. And Monarchs have been visiting our backyard all seasons round. It is a great success.

Potted Butterfly Gardening Program

This program started last spring and summer. The potted flowers and plants are placed at the front door, on the patio/deck and on the lane-ways. They are beautifully blended with the naturally growing plants and flowers and the whole landscape. This program goes on with continuous gardening and development with various approaches and sources. This program in 2020 is a great success. The flowers we planted in pots this spring with seeds blossom beautifully in spring, summer and autumn and Potted Butterfly Gardening is part of the beautiful scenery of our Front Door Butterfly Gardens, Laneway Side Butterfly Gardens and Deck Butterfly Gardens. In this program in 2021, the potted flowers at our door have been blossoming beautifully in profusion from spring to autumn and still thriving in/after continuous low and negative temperatures and snows. It is a great success.

Native Plants in Butterfly Garden Program

This program started last spring and summer. We preserve and take care of the native and naturally growing plants and wild flowers and integrate them into our butterfly gardens as they are part of the healthy ecosystem. In CMABA, nature and nurture embrace each other and praise each other, ” How beautiful you are! ”  The naturally growing and native plants and wild flowers in CMABA, big or small, with big or small flowers, no matter what color they are, all grow beautifully and strong in our butterfly gardens. They are excellent in dealing with extreme weather and climate change. The native plants and flowers developed locally are integrated into all our programs. In this section and program, we focus on the plants and wild flowers that naturally grow by their own choice without our planting and we preserve in and integrate into our butterfly gardens. This program in both 2019 and 2020 are a great success and we are surrounded by natural and beautiful blossoms from spring to the late seasons. In this program in 2021, there are super beautiful and thriving wild flowers growing and blossoming beautifully in our Monarch and butterfly gardens and they attract Monarchs and various butterflies, bees and bumblebees. It is a great success.

Butterfly Conservation and Sighting Program

We are home to various butterflies and they make our butterfly gardens their home. The butterfly conservation program is integrated into all of our programs. The butterfly sighting program starts from spring, 2020. We will post butterflies that are in our gardens in the gallery to share with you.  Welcome, all butterflies! We will also post some photos of skippers and moths that are in our gardens in this gallery as they are part of the healthy ecosystem. This program in 2020 is a great success. We have various types of butterflies visiting us and our butterfly gardens frequently all seasons round even in the late seasons and they make our butterfly gardens their home. Thank you for your love, Nature. This program in 2021 is exceptional and innovative. Various butterflies make our Monarch and butterfly gardens their home and were born and live in our beautiful Monarch and butterfly gardens. We are natural home to butterflies.

Butterfly Herb Gardening Program

We have been having herbs in our gardens. Elizabeth created a herb garden in particular and the plants came back strong in the following year. Exciting! Eastern black swallowtail caterpillars were found in the herb garden. They are so cute! Look at the caterpillars and butterflies in the beautiful butterfly herd gardens that we created and developed. They add some more colors and diversities to our beautiful Monarch and butterfly gardens with all other caterpillars and butterflies.
