Happy Mother’s Day

It snowed twice early this morning. I was lucky to wake up early enough so that I could do something for the flowers, seedlings and plants in the gardens. That makes me feel good. The temperature of the past week has been low at night with 6 times of snows and hail during the day time yesterday. I planted some dormant berry plants (whole plants dormant with strong stems and roots) yesterday in snow in the backyard and they are all doing very well today. Flowers are still blossoming or beginning to blossom and plants are having pretty new foliage. Seedlings are doing amazing and come up here and there in the gardens. There will be a lot more to come when the weather completely warms up. I hope the last frost of spring will be gone definitely (predicted in two days) so that I can begin to work more in the gardens.

Here are two photos that I took from my butterfly gardens for all mothers to celebrate this wonderful day. Wish all mothers healthy and happy.
