Extraordinary Experiences
14 milkweed plants grew naturally around the wall of our home in 2019 and we observed larvae and monarchs naturally growing and born on the eaves of our home. What a joy! What have done a lot of gardening and related research and made history. The Canadian Monarch and Butterfly Association was founded and developed based on this exciting journey to bring joy to thousands and millions of families and people in Canada.
Research and Innovation Driven
We apply excellent and innovative approaches in our butterfly gardening, research and processes. We have our research and innovation base and laboratory and our research and innovation are going on. We made histories in our beautiful and advanced Monarch and butterfly gardens that we developed on several species and varieties of milkweeds and a wide range of plants and flowers that we planted and became natural home to Monarchs and butterflies.

We are a non-profit organization to increase public education and participation in Monarch and butterfly conservation, gardening and butterfly biodiversity.

Founder & President
Alice Elizabeth Li Beach
Alice Elizabeth has backgrounds in research, management and education. She holds three Master’s degrees. She is a visionary with creative ideas, an innovative mind and aesthetic perspectives. She loves nature. She created, established and operate the organization from scratch in every aspect: from daily gardening, design, planning, research to website design and building and all other aspects of the organization. She invites you to join her in the delightful journey.
Alice Elizabeth made history. Her distinguished efforts and accomplishments will lead Canada in Monarch and butterfly conservation in many years to come.
